I started the Governor Bill Haslam group. Our purpose statement: Bill Haslam was sworn in as governor of Tennessee on January 15, 2011. Haslam was elected mayor of Knoxville in 2003 and has balanced six consecutive city budgets, achieving Knoxvilles lowest property tax rate in more than 50 years.
