Being a member of a political party is one of the most basic freedoms we have as Americans. At this point in history our current parties and the media have taken party partisanship to the Nth degree in the name of building their base of power and ratings. A very cynical view I admit, but it is true in many cases.
Partisanship is the reason NewGov is so important. Very few people believe everything their party stands for and are free thinking enough to have thoughts of theirs. NewGov is how you can leave that all behind. Let's give up partying and speak from our hearts and minds about what we feel is best for our country, state, city and themselves, not what is best for a party. Our political parties represent us, but they have grown to represent themselves first. We can't make them care, so let's leave hem behind.
